FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: The item I was hoping to buy is sold out, when will it be re-stocked?
A: We re-stock items as often as possible, but keep in mind we use seasonal flowers and every piece is one-of-a-kind. No two pieces will ever be the same, making each item 100% unique. We're always offering new designs based on growing seasons of our flowers. We try to re-stock our most popular items like bookmarks and keychains every two weeks
Q: Can you work with flowers that have been air-dried?
A: Absolutely. The only difference is they will preserve exactly how they look now and we won't have to dry them ourselves. As long as they are mold-free, they can be preserved in resin. I've worked with 20+ year old bouquets
Q: Will my resin piece last over time?
A: Yes, your creations are designed to be enjoyed forever. Care instructions are provided in every order and it is highly recommended that you follow them. Resin must be displayed away from heat sources and sunny windows, as UV and heat break down the compounds in resin. All resin will amber over time, but displaying your pieces away from the sun will slow this process down significantly
Q: How do I place a custom order?
A: Fill out the custom order form on our contact page, including: your contact information, special event date (if applicable), your ideas for your custom project and the deadline (if applicable) and your location. Bouquet preservation and custom orders are based on availability of the artist and it's best to reserve your date 3+ months in advance. Please note we accept bouquets from within Canada only
Q: How does this process work?
A: Contact us to inquire about availability for bouquet preservation or custom orders. You will be sent an information package including the full list of items we currently offer via email. Once you have sent your deposit and reserved your date/custom order request, we wait for the event. You have until we receive your flowers to decide what you'd like made. You must ship/deliver your bouquet within 1-3 days of the event to ensure they arrive in their best state. Once we receive your flowers, we begin the drying process. We only use what we need to create your requested items, which is why we need to know what you'd like made before we receive your flowers. Your flowers will remain in drying for about 6-8 weeks. Once your flowers are dry and we're ready to begin planning your project, 1-2 layout designs are sent to you via email for your approval. Once you select your preferred design, we begin preserving your flowers in resin. Each piece can take up to 12 layers of resin, and approximately 2-6 weeks of pouring time. The entire process will take approximately 4-6 months before you receive your flowers back
Q: Do all flowers preserve the same?
A: Absolutely not. All flowers dry and preserve in resin differently. The same type of flower in the same bouquet can dry and preserve differently. Coloured flowers preserve the best, and its very important to include different varieties of blooms in your bouquet. White flowers show their bruising more easily, and can preserve in resin bright white-yellow-brown. Red flowers will dry a deep burgundy colour. The best preservations include colour, variety and texture. If you have questions about a specific types of flowers, please contact us
